shipping

We have a flat rate shipping fee of R99 for each purchase (local South African door-to-door delivery) and R450 for all international orders. 

Shipping takes 2-3 days (as well as the few days it takes to craft your items).

If you spend R500 or more your order will be shipped for free!

 

Refunds & returns

 

  • Please make sure the item is still in its original packaging and returned within 14 days of ordering.
  • We will issue either a cash back or store credit for the same value of your purchase once the returned item has been received (please allow up to 5 business days for this to occur). Equivalent store credit (we provide this in the form of an electronic voucher code)  This credit can then be used by you to choose another garment(s) when it suits you.
  • At African Child we strive to provide the very best service, but unfortunately, if you have chosen an incorrect size – the return delivery fee will need to be covered by you.
  • If you’re returning an item that is damaged and we did not see an impairment on it, the cost of delivery is on us. We however have very stringent criteria and do our utmost to make sure that every item is inspected for imperfections.
  • Please ensure that your parcel delivery is tracked, as unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for any items which are lost in transit.
  • Once you have emailed us wishing to return a purchase. We will discuss the best way forward. 

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@africanchildsa.co.za and send your item to: {physical address}.

Shipping returns

To return your product, please request our address from us directly and arrange a return via Aramex or your own courier service. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
